Now the slave will suffer like never before. I put the gutter on the ground - with the metal fins sharp as blades - and order him to lay his hands down on it. Then I start to walk over his hands with my boots. He’s already in a lot of pain as I only walk over his hands - but it’s going to get way crueler than that! I stand on one of his hands with my full weight, stand on my tip toes, grind my boot soles on his fingers and even stand on just one heel. The slave’s not only in constant pain, he’s also - rightfully - afraid that his fingers break with my careless trampling on the sharp gutter!
